About the role
The Athletic Trainer will work with local athletes at the high school level, as well as during community events. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans for injuries, performing on-field assessments, and providing emergency care to injured athletes.
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans for injuries, including modalities as appropriate
- Perform on-field assessments and emergency care to injured athletes at events as needed
- Work closely with fellow athletic trainers to cover events
- Collaborate with the Sports Medicine Medical Director and team physicians
- Travel to various locations for events
- Occasional night, weekend, and holiday hours may be required
Requirements
- Licensed or eligible for licensure by the LA State Board of Medical Examiners
- Athletic Trainer Certification from the Board of Certification
- Experience in athletic training is preferred

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
