Athletic Trainer
About the role
The Athletic Trainer supports the medical services for student-athletes in a Division III athletic program with 32 varsity teams and additional support for Club Sport programs. Duties include preventing and recognizing athletic injuries, evaluating and treating injuries, and rehabilitating student-athletes.
Responsibilities
- Prevent and recognize athletic injuries
- Evaluate and treat athletic injuries
- Rehabilitate and recondition student-athletes
- Support administrative tasks as assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine
Requirements
- Certified by the Board of Certification (BOC)
- Eligible for Massachusetts State Licensure (preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field with a minimum of 3 years professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Master’s Degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or related field preferred
- Practical experience with a variety of athletic teams in the Division III setting, including contact sports
- Ability to interact effectively with a diverse population of student athletes and athletic department staff

Benefits

Pay
$54,000 to $61,000 commensurate with experience.
Schedule
Runs from mid-August to mid-June annually.
