Athletic Trainer
Responsibilities
- Coverage of assigned athletic events
- Rendering treatment plans outlined by physician for injured athletes
- Assessment of injured athletes and proper referral to a physician when necessary
- Communication with parents, coaches, athletic director, team orthopedist & therapists
- Documentation of evaluations and treatments
- Maintain proper equipment and supplies for coverage of athletic events
- Contribute to a positive work environment and the overall Sports Medicine team
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Athletic Training
- NEW GRADUATES WELCOME
- License/Certification: NATA BOC certified
- Eligible for Alabama state licensure
- Basic Life Support and AED Certification
