Position Summary
St. David’s School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Athletic Trainer to join our Christ-centered educational community. The Athletic Trainer will support the mission of St. David’s by promoting physical wellness and safety while modeling Christian character and servant leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site injury assessment and immediate care during practices and games.
- Develop and implement injury prevention programs and rehabilitation plans.
- Maintain accurate records of injuries, treatments, and progress.
- Collaborate with coaches, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure student-athlete safety.
- Manage inventory and maintenance of athletic training supplies and equipment.
- Educate student-athletes on health, nutrition, and injury prevention.
- Uphold the values and mission of St. David’s School in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in athletic training or related field.
- Certification by the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure by the North Carolina Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners.
- Current CPR/AED certification required.
- Experience working with middle and high school students preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A clear expression of faith in Christ and a deeply rooted Christian character.
