Athletic Trainer

About the role

We’re looking for a motivated Athletic Trainer to join our orthopedic team in a unique hybrid role that combines outpatient clinic care with athletic event coverage.

Responsibilities

• Support physical therapy and rehabilitation services during clinic hours by assisting with patient treatments, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and education to help patients recover and return to activity safely.
• Provide athletic training services for local schools and sporting events, including injury evaluation, first aid, taping/bracing, rehabilitation support, and return-to-play guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field required
• Current Athletic Trainer certification (BOC) required
• Current Minnesota Athletic Trainer licensure required
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Prior orthopedic, sports medicine, or outpatient rehab experience preferred
