About the Role
The Athletic Trainer provides athletic training coverage and support for sport team or school assignments as directed by the Clinical Supervisor for Rehab Services or Sports Medicine. Responsibilities include coordinating and assisting with injury prevention, immediate assessment, evaluation, treatment of injuries, and appropriate triage.
Pay
Yearly base salary range:
- Central Point, Oregon: USD $51,937.00 to $79,476.00
- Portland, Oregon: USD $55,723.00 to $85,259.00
A candidate's final placement within this range will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, and other factors. This range reflects base pay only; the role may also be eligible for supplemental compensation, including bonuses, shift differentials, standby/on-call rates, overtime, premiums, and extra shift incentives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a health-related field or equivalent education/experience
- Oregon Athletic Trainer License (upon hire)
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire)
- Board of Certification (BOC) for athletic trainers (upon hire)
- Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check (PL 540 and 580 only, upon hire)
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience working in a school or college environment as an athletic trainer
