Athletic Trainer
About the role
Work directly with student-athletes at local high schools, educating them on injury prevention, evaluating, treating, and rehabilitating musculoskeletal injuries. Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate care and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
Schedule
Full-time, 80 hours every two weeks. Hours vary between clinic and high school sporting events, with athletic coverage required during the afternoon, evening, and some weekend events as needed.
Pay
Starting pay begins at $52,416.00 per year; exact wage determined by years of related experience. Pay range: $52,416.00–$80,217.70 per year. Salary and range are based on a 1.0 FTE; reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate. $5,000 in relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

To be eligible for the relocation bonus, you must accept a position that offers benefits, may not have worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months, currently reside more than 50 miles away, and relocate to within 30 miles of the primary work location within 120 days. Hiring incentives, including sign-on and relocation bonuses, may be discontinued at any time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in athletic training or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
- Licensed as an Athletic Trainer with MN Board of Medical Practice
- 2+ years of experience in an athletic training setting preferred
- Valid driver’s license in good standing, required
- BLS certified, required
