Location: St Marys – Detroit Lakes Clinic, Department of Orthopedic Surgery (Job ID 3201570). Full-time, day shift, possible remote/hybrid option.
About the role
Essentia Health’s Ambulatory Care Athletic Trainers deliver comprehensive patient care, including evaluation, education, treatment, consultation, and related services, in collaboration with and under the supervision of a physician.
Responsibilities
- Provides services to patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics in an ambulatory setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health.
- Provides patient care activities under the direct supervision of a physician including evaluation and assessment, education, treatment and consultation services, and related patient care services.
- Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated.
Requirements
Education
- Graduate of an athletic training program
Certifications & Licensure
- Registered by Board of Medical Practice per state guidelines
- CPR certification
- NATA board certification (BOC) and appropriate state licenses
- Current state registration in appropriate state
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (day shift). No weekends, holidays, or call obligation.
Pay
Hourly range: $25.98 – $38.97 (union position).
