Athletic Technician

About the role

Cecil College is a post-secondary institution founded in 1968 to serve the educational needs of Cecil County residents. It is governed by a Board of Trustees and is headquartered in Cecil County, Maryland. The College offers a variety of associate degrees, certificates, and non-credit courses.

General Duties

• Operating the scoreboard and other scorer's table duties
• Submitting game statistics
• Game and field set-up and tear-down
• Operating photo or video equipment
• Managing social media
• Play-by-play, color commentary, or public address
• Writing press releases and game recaps
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
• Knowledge of college sports and related rules and regulations
• Ability to work and cooperate with co-workers and supervisors
• Ability to learn and perform essential job functions accurately
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or normal office hours

Pay

This is a non-exempt (hourly), overtime eligible position; Grade 101; salary will be $15/hr.
