Essential Job Functions
- Available and willing to travel extensively to job sites.
- Daily travel to job sites.
- 30% overnight travel.
- Travel is required.

- Meets installation department profit goals.
- Supervises installers at the job site by promoting productivity, quality, professionalism, and customer service.
- Maintains productivity of sub-contractors and installers.
- Exceeds customer expectations for quality of work and service.
- Works with the installation team to ensure minimum installer productivity requirements are exceeded.
- Maintains excellent customer service and relationships with external customers and internal staff.
- Reviews work orders and secures complete and accurate information.
- Makes suggestions to the sales team regarding material orders, job conditions, and installation requirements.
- Schedules pre-installation meetings as required with the sales and project management team.
- Verifies complete and accurate information on shop drawings.
- Completes field dimensions in a timely manner for project managers.
- Visits job site as often as required prior to installation to verify job readiness.
- Communicates job conditions with sales and project management teams.
- Reports all product shortages and damage to sales and project management team.
- Completes and submits change orders and back charges on a weekly basis.
- Communicates with the project manager on job progress, punch list progress, and job completion.
Qualifications
- Construction or Carpentry experience desired.
- Athletic installation/service work experience is required.
- Athletic work experience preferred.
- Previous job site management experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Strong technical and organizational skills in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills in a professional environment is a must.
- Ability to communicate well with project manager and supervisors.
- Foster positive teamwork relationships with fellow employee owners.
Working Conditions
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, and speak to use the telephone and to communicate with individuals both inside and outside the organization.
- Effectively communicate and follow oral and written instructions, and possess arm, hand, and finger dexterity to use when reaching, handling, grasping, or using a keyboard.
- The employee is regularly required to sit, walk, and stand.
- Must be able to kneel, stoop and squat often.
- Ability to swing a hammer.
- Arm, hang & finger dexterity with both hands involved in activities such as reaching, handling, and feeling.
- Ability to use hands and power tools.
- May work around chemicals, near grinding and torching, and near cranes and moving equipment.
- Will work in close contact with other people.
- Ability to lift 100 lbs.
- Stand or walk for 8+ hours.
- Must have ability to lift both arms overhead.
- Must possess keen vision and hearing.
- Ability to perform work from extended heights in aerial lifts.
- Forklift, aerial lift, OSHA 10/OSHA 30, 1st Aid/AED/CPR certifications a plus.
- Travel may include up to 50% overnight and on the road travel to and from job sites.
- Hours for this position are within business hours, but there will be frequent overtime during the spring, summer and fall months.
