Athletic Facilities & Operations Assistant
About the Role
This position provides operational assistance to the athletic department and the field house complex, including:
- Athletic facility scheduling
- Working with outside groups on permit and rental processes
- Serving as a point of contact for large-scale campus events
- Managing ticketing for athletic events
- Supervising student workers
- Assisting the Assistant AD for Athletic Facilities with the operational needs of the Field House/Ice Arena complex
The department of Athletics & Recreation subscribes to the philosophy that athletics complements the total education experience of students, offering multiple ways for students to compete or participate in quality athletic programs aligned with SUNY Plattsburgh’s educational mission. This role is part of the Enrollment and Student Success division, which supports students throughout their collegiate experience, partnering with faculty and staff to provide opportunities and services that foster student success and well-being.
Schedule
This is a 12-month position with evening and weekend requirements.
