About the role

We are seeking an Athletic Director/Head Football Coach who will be responsible for overseeing all athletic programs, managing facilities, and providing leadership to the coaching staff. This position requires a strong background in education and sports administration, as well as experience in coaching high school football.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all athletic programs including scheduling, budgeting, and facility management.
• Provide leadership and support to the coaching staff.
• Develop and implement athletic policies and procedures.
• Manage and maintain athletic equipment and facilities.
• Collaborate with other administrators to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• A minimum of five years of experience in high school athletics administration.
• A valid Texas teaching certificate.
• Experience coaching high school football.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Knowledge of Texas high school athletics rules and regulations.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The schedule is a 4-day workweek with a permanent three-day weekend every week.
