Job Overview

As an At Your Service Center Colleague, you are at the heart of delivering a seamless and personalized shopping experience. You’ll support all At Your Service activities, including Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, order pickups, and other assigned tasks - all while upholding Macy’s service standards.

Responsibilities

• Support all At Your Service activities, including BOPS, merchandise returns, order pickups, and other assigned tasks.
• Lead through action by welcoming customers with genuine hospitality, making eye contact, and starting friendly, personal conversations that build lasting relationships.
• Aid in maintaining a shoppable space by recovering merchandise and keeping the pickup and return areas clean.
• Ensure the collection area is organized so the customer pick-up experience is friction-free.
• Share our Loyalty program benefits, make sure customers have all they need, and end with a sincere thank-you, often walking the package around and using the customer’s name.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shopping space so every customer feels welcome the moment they walk in.

Requirements

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to talk, lift, stand, move, and reach with arms and hands.
• Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register, and ability to process register transactions.

Qualifications

• Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.
• Make prompt, sound decisions in real time to effectively address customer needs and resolve issues.
• Comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
• Resourceful and eager to start a new venture and can adapt to changing priorities; you can work on your own but are great with team dynamics.
• Handle electronic devices with no problem.
