About the Role
Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO) is a non-governmental development organization certified by the Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA) of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. ESDO started its journey in 1988 with a noble vision to establish solidarity with the poor and marginalized. As a people-centered organization, ESDO envisions a society free from inequality and injustice. ESDO has been implementing various social development and skill enhancement activities/projects. Currently, ESDO is working for the overall development of 12 million ultra-poor people in 408 upazilas across 53 districts of the country.
Responsibilities
- Select members for loan disbursement, installment collection, and new member enrollment; upon selection, complete group formation after informing the Branch Manager and obtaining clearance
- Begin weekly savings collection after the group formation process is completed
- Manage a specified number of groups according to the branch size and association structure
- During regular group management, discuss various socio-economic issues such as education, health, nutrition, family planning, environment, etc., alongside savings and loan installment collection
- Write and sign group resolutions at weekly meetings
- Preliminarily select borrowing members through the selection committee for loan approval and present them for authorization
- Ensure 100% daily collection
- Regularly sign the office attendance register and sign the movement register when leaving the office
- Ensure that borrowed funds are being used in the intended sectors
- Report according to the specified reporting format
- Perform other tasks as directed by the authorities
Requirements
- Bangla language proficiency
- Bengali language skills
- Experience in administration jobs
- Experience in back office operations
- Experience in vacancy monitoring
