Development Initiative for Social Advancement (DISA) is a national non-governmental development organization (MRA Certificate No. 01306-00480-00024) that has been implementing microfinance and other development activities for poverty alleviation for the past 33 years. The organization currently operates microfinance programs aimed at improving the livelihoods of the poor through 111 branches across 19 districts in Bangladesh.

About the role

Selected candidates will be stationed directly in the field to distribute loans, collect repayments, and manage savings activities among rural communities as part of DISA’s microfinance operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct loan disbursement and recovery activities in rural areas.
• Manage savings programs for rural communities.
• Perform back-office operations, including administration and banking tasks.
• Support audit management and ensure organizational compliance.

Requirements

• Experience in back-office operations, administration, or banking operations.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in rural field locations.
