Temporary positions available for $25 - $45/hour in the New York & New Jersey region.
About the role
We actively support employment for individuals holding dependent visas tied to E and L visas (e.g., E-1, E-2, E-3, L-1, and their spouses). Both temporary/contract and full-time permanent roles are continuously available through our agency. Many visa holders are currently employed at special administrative agencies and private companies via our services.
Company background
Max Consulting Group, founded in 1994 and headquartered in New York, specializes in executive search, staffing, and temporary placement. The company has operated under the same name and ownership for 31 years, providing consistent, trusted service to Japanese-affiliated organizations in the U.S. The president, who has worked in the staffing industry since 1985 and relocated to New York in 1990, is one of the few long-standing professionals in the city’s Japanese staffing sector.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid dependent visa tied to an E or L visa (e.g., E-1S, E-2S, E-3S, or L-2S).
- As of January 30, 2022, an unexpired Form I-94 with one of the new Class of Admission (COA) codes (E-1S, E-2S, E-3S, or L-2S) serves as proof of employment authorization under Form I-9, List C.
- For those with an I-94 issued before January 30, 2022, USCIS will mail a notice (beginning April 1, 2022) that, when combined with the I-94, acts as employment authorization. If you are under 21 or have not received the notice by April 30, contact E-L-married-U21@uscis.dhs.gov.
- If your I-94 lacks the “S” designation (e.g., E-1 instead of E-1S), contact the Deferred Inspection Site for your region. For New York, call (718) 553-3683 or (718) 553-3684 (JFK International Airport, Terminal 5, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., Monday – Thursday).
