About the role

TRIA Orthopedic Urgent Care is seeking an LPN, MA, EMT, or ATC to work in our fast-paced environment. Patients range from children to elderly with a wide range of acute and chronic orthopedic conditions. The clinic is open 7 days per week from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and closed on all major holidays. This casual position requires a minimum of 2 shifts per month, with 12-hour shifts (8:00 AM–8:00 PM) Monday through Friday and 8:00 AM–4:30 PM on weekends. One year of orthopedic experience is preferred but we will train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Utilizing broad-based skills in basic patient care, ancillary services, and business office practices, you will aid providers in accordance with standard policies.

Requirements

We are open to filling this position with an LPN, MA, ATC, or EMT. Requirements for each role are outlined below:

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
    • Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
    • Current state LPN license.
    • One or more years of nursing experience desirable (preferably in a related field).
    • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (in-person only; online certification not accepted).
  • Medical Assistant (MA):
    • Graduate from a Medical Assisting program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES.
    • One or more years of experience desirable (preferably in a related field).
    • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (in-person only; online certification not accepted).
  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT):
    • Graduate of an accredited EMT program and current MN EMT license.
    • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (in-person only; online certification not accepted).
  • Athletic Trainer (ATC):
    • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
    • Current BOC Certified Athletic Trainer credential.
    • Current license with the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
    • NATA member in good standing.
    • Valid NPI number.
