Assurance Manager [Financial Services Group]

Responsibilities
- Serve as the Engagement Manager on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, final deliverable development, and billing and collections.
- Develop a detailed engagement work plan, illustrating budgets and schedules.
- Maintain project status against the work plan and communicate schedule adjustments to CohnReznick management.
- Build a professional relationship with the client, gaining their respect and confidence through superior customer service, quality work products, and professional integrity.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring they are fully informed of engagement progress and logistics.
- Prepare timely and accurate bills for professional services rendered.
Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm
- Bachelor’s Degree and active CPA required
- Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills (verbal and written)

- Experience with financial reporting and auditing
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
In New York, the salary range for an Assurance Manager is $105,000 to $175,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and applicable employment laws.
Schedule
The position is considered hybrid, meaning team members are expected to alternate time between remote and office work.
