Assurance Manager [Financial Services Group]

About the role

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm with professionals located in various financial centers across the United States. This position is considered hybrid, meaning team members alternate time between remote and office locations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Engagement Manager on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, final deliverable development, and billing and collections.
• Develop a detailed engagement work plan, illustrating budgets and schedules.
• Maintain project status against the work plan and communicate schedule adjustments to CohnReznick management.
• Build a professional relationship with the client, gaining their respect and confidence through supreme customer service, quality work products, and professional integrity.
• Act as the primary point-of-contact for the client, ensuring they are fully informed of engagement progress and logistics.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of bills for professional services rendered.

Requirements

• 5+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm
• Bachelor’s Degree and active CPA required
• Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills (verbal and written)

• Experience with financial services and audit processes

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Pay

In New York, the salary range for an Assurance Manager is $105,000 to $175,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and applicable employment laws.
