About the role

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Assurance Manager to be based out of San Francisco. This position is hybrid, meaning team members are expected to alternate time between both remote and office. The role is part of the Financial Services Industry team, where you’ll work with leading private equity, hedge, and other alternative investment funds, gaining valuable knowledge of the capital markets ecosystem.

You’ll collaborate with other CohnReznick industry and service line team members to deliver outstanding technical and client service, including comprehensive transaction, fund, and portfolio company audit, tax, and value creation solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive client engagements
  • Review and prepare financial statements, footnotes, workpapers, management letters, agreed-upon procedures, and other attestation engagements
  • Demonstrate professional creativity in dealing with client matters and make constructive suggestions to improve client operations
  • Effectively analyze client transactions, recognizing and resolving potential or existing problems with appropriate research and consulting
  • Accept responsibility and utilize firm resources to complete assignments
  • Oversee, mentor, and develop staff

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm
  • Financial Services experience required
  • Exceptional analytical, technical, and auditing skills including knowledge in US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB rules and standards
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • CPA licensure required
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX
  • Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills

Pay

In California, the salary range for an Assurance Manager is $95,000.00 to $160,000.00. Salary is one component of the CohnReznick total rewards package, which also includes a discretionary performance bonus.
