Assurance Manager

Responsibilities
- Drive client engagements
- Review and prepare financial statements, footnotes, workpapers, management letters, agreed-upon procedures, and other attestation engagements
- Demonstrate professional creativity in client matters and suggest operational improvements
- Analyze client transactions, resolving potential issues through research and consulting
- Accept responsibility and utilize firm resources to complete assignments
- Oversee, mentor, and develop staff
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a public accounting firm
- Exceptional analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, and Uniform Guidance / Yellow Book
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting (required)
- CPA licensure (required)
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX (preferred)
Pay
In California, the salary range for Assurance Managers is $115,000 – $160,000. Determination varies based on geographical location, qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of CohnReznick’s total rewards package, which also includes a discretionary performance bonus and other benefits.
