Assurance Manager

This position supports our Assurance Group. You will collaborate with Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners—all passionate about delivering value to clients.

Responsibilities

• Drive client engagements
• Review and prepare financial statements, footnotes, workpapers, management letters, agreed-upon procedures, and other attestation engagements
• Demonstrate professional creativity in client matters and suggest operational improvements
• Analyze client transactions, resolving potential issues through research and consulting
• Accept responsibility and utilize firm resources to complete assignments
• Oversee, mentor, and develop staff

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a public accounting firm
• Exceptional analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, and Uniform Guidance / Yellow Book
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting (required)
• CPA licensure (required)
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills
• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX (preferred)

Pay

In California, the salary range for Assurance Managers is $115,000 – $160,000. Determination varies based on geographical location, qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of CohnReznick’s total rewards package, which also includes a discretionary performance bonus and other benefits.
