Assurance Manager

About the role

CohnReznick is seeking an Assurance Manager to join the team in our Tysons office, supporting our Technology Practice. This position is considered hybrid, with team members expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration, averaging 3 days a week in the office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables.
• Develop detailed engagement work plans, illustrating budgets and schedules.
• Manage a team of associates and senior associates, providing regular performance coaching and feedback, while developing individual technical and industry skills.
• Effectively manage clients, providing timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise direction and leadership.
• Continue to build a thorough understanding of all audits, tax, and consulting services provided by the firm, and actively participate in proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting required.
• CPA designation is required.
• 5+ years' experience in a public accounting firm required.
• Commercial services and/or Technology industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of audit software ProSystem Fx a plus.
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation (verbal and written) skills.
