Assurance Manager [Affordable Housing]

About the role

CohnReznick is seeking an Assurance Manager to join the Affordable Housing team in our Chicago office. This position is hybrid, with team members expected to be in the office on average 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts
• Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
• Develop detailed engagement work plans
• Illustrate budgets and schedules
• Actively participate in proposals
• Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching and feedback

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting required
• CPA designation is required
• 5+ years' experience in a public accounting firm required
• Knowledge of audit software ProSystem Fx is a plus

• Exceptional organizational, communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills

Pay

In Illinois, the salary range for Assurance Managers is $100,000 - $150,000. Salary determination will vary based on factors such as a candidate’s geographical location, qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies.
