About the role
PwC’s audit and assurance professionals provide independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information to enhance the credibility and reliability of this information with various stakeholders. They evaluate compliance with regulations, including governance and risk management processes and related controls.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate financial statements for material misstatements, both intentional and unintentional.
- Assess internal controls and governance processes to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Issue an auditor’s report that reflects the findings and provides an opinion on the financial health of the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive audit services.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to maintain expertise in the field.
Requirements
- Bermudian, PRC holder, spouse of a Bermudian, or hold permission from the Bermuda Department of Immigration to seek employment in Bermuda.
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a similar business-related field from an accredited university with a minimum GPA of 3.2 (B+).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Highly organized, dedicated, and self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
