About the Property
This community serves residents through Project Based, Section 8 and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Aid the Property Manager with the daily operations of the community
- Provide outstanding customer service to residents, applicants, vendors, and visitors
- Answer incoming calls and respond to resident inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Process rental applications, income verifications, certifications, and recertifications
- Maintain compliance with Section 8, LIHTC, and other affordable housing regulations
- Organize and maintain resident files, office records, and compliance documentation
- Process and track maintenance work orders through completion
- Cook up with vendors, contractors, and onsite staff
- Process invoices
- Absorb resident correspondence, notices, and community communications
- Aid with rent collection, delinquency follow-up, and general administrative duties
- Support occupancy goals and resident retention efforts
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of property management experience required
- Experience with Section 8 and LIHTC affordable housing programs required
- LIHTC Certification preferred
- COS Certification preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Yardi experience strongly preferred
- Strong organizational, administrative, and multitasking skills
- Excellent customer service, communication, and conflict-resolution abilities
Pay & Benefits
- $29.00 - $30.00 per hour
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
