Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to increase sales premium, case count, retention and profitability.
- Represent Group Products, including STD, LTD, LIFE, AD&D, Dental, Vision, Absence Solutions, and Voluntary portfolios.
- Ensure adherence to administrative and underwriting guidelines.
- Provide service to policyholders and brokers, prepare and present product recommendations, and cross-sell products.
- Accurately and timely record lead information in CRM and organize contacts based on priority.
- Submit sales and production reports and partner with field and home office staff to implement new cases and resolve customer concerns.
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring sales staff, and train new representatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in group employee benefit sales.
- Group Life and Health license for home state.
- Solve policy owner and broker problems, speak effectively in public, and make independent decisions.
- Thrive in a challenging and collaborative sales environment.
- Strong knowledge of group products, claim practices, administrative procedures, services, contract language, and provisions.
- Excellent organizational skills, follow-up, and prioritization skills.
- Commitment to continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence others.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
- Provide continuous and consistent high-quality sales, service, and support to the sales producer staff, clients, brokers, and administrative office personnel.
- Maintain confidentiality.

Pay and Schedule
The expected hiring range for this position is $63,540.00 - $79,440.00 annually for work performed in the primary location (Tampa, FL).
This expected hiring range covers only base pay and excludes any other compensation components such as commissions or incentive awards. The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be based on several factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
