About the role

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible surgical oncologist for an open-rank faculty position with clinical, research, and teaching responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered surgical care in endocrine, breast, and soft tissue oncology.
  • Participate actively in the multidisciplinary management of complex cancer cases.
  • Engage in academic research, with opportunities for basic, translational, or clinical research.
  • Contribute to medical student, resident, and fellow education and mentorship.

Requirements

  • MD/DO/MBBS/MBBCh degree.
  • Completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 3.
  • ABMS Board certified or board eligible in General Surgery.
  • Completion of, or in the process of completing, a Fellowship in Surgical Oncology, Endocrine Surgery or relevant subspecialty.

Qualifications

  • MD/DO/MBBS/MBBCh degree.
  • Completion of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 3.
  • ABMS Board certified or board eligible in General Surgery.
  • Completion of, or in the process of completing, a Fellowship in Surgical Oncology, Endocrine Surgery or relevant subspecialty.
