About the role
The TTUHSC Department of Psychiatry seeks an Assistant/Associate/Professor to join our dynamic team. The rank of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor and applicable salary are dependent upon the candidate's qualifications and experience.
Major/Essential Functions
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents.
- Diagnose and treat a range of psychiatric disorders in children and adolescents, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral or emotional issues.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy.
- Maintain patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in department call coverage.
- Conduct educational activities and/or research related to mental health.
- Provide supervision, mentoring, and teaching to residents and students.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO or equivalent.
- Completion of the USMLE Step 3.
- Completion of, or in the process of completing, a residency in psychiatry.
- Completion of, or in the process of completing, a fellowship in child & adolescent psychiatry.
- ABMS Board Eligibility, or in the process of completing training to become board eligible, in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
