About the role

The CFO Services practice within Alvarez & Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) is a growing business offering excellent opportunities for career advancement and leadership development. Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing financial models, including 13-week cash flow projections.
• Providing strategic recommendations based on financial analysis and findings.
• Managing treasury and cash management processes.
• Assisting with systems implementation projects.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address complex business issues.
• Leading time-sensitive projects with a structured work plan.
• Presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Building and maintaining client relationships.

Requirements

• 4-7+ years of relevant work experience in areas such as Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Strategy, or related fields.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited 4-year institution.
• Strong expertise with data and analytics tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau, etc.
• Experience with financial modeling and financial statement development.
• Experience with Tableau and think-cell software.
• Treasury and cash management experience.
• Systems implementation experience.
• Excellent written, oral, and analytical skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong initiative and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Qualifications

• CPA certification is preferred.
• Flexibility to travel up to 80% of the time, as needed.

Benefits

The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000 annually, contingent upon experience, skills, and location. A&M also offers a discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance.
