Salary and Other Benefits

The hourly rate for this position is between $36/hr - $40/hr. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include market, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

What You Will Do

• Perform expert alterations and tailoring on a variety of garments, ensuring fit, quality, and finish meet company standards.
• Conduct fittings with clients, providing professional recommendations for adjustments to achieve the desired look and fit.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area, handling garments with care and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with sales associates and managers to support customer needs, ensuring timely completion of alterations.
• Track and manage alterations workflow, meeting deadlines while upholding service and quality expectations.

What You Will Bring

• Vocational training in alterations.
• Experience in an alteration operation or industrial environment that offers exposure to a variety of garments styles and types of fabrics is ideal.
• Experience as a sewing machine operator is important.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and sewing techniques.
• Able to perform precise fittings and provide expert recommendations to clients.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to craftsmanship and quality.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Customer service orientation with strong communication and collaboration skills.
