Associate Vice President, Portfolio Analytics

Primary Functions And Essential Responsibilities

  • Supervise and develop analysts and associates, while providing ongoing training and feedback
  • Work with investment professionals to assist in deal closings and allocations across funds, as well as support ongoing portfolio construction
  • Perform detailed review of quarterly investment report valuations, including diversification metrics as well as valuation gains and losses
  • Prepare or review documentation for quarterly investor reports, as well as performance returns at a portfolio and fund level (TWR, IRR, Multiples, etc.)
  • Cook up investment amendments/consents with investment professionals
  • Participate on investment update calls and prepare/review memo summary
  • Review data utilized by Investor Relations as part of investor presentations and fundraising efforts

Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum of a B.S. degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
  • MBA, CFA, or CPA is a plus
  • Experience Required: 7+ years of related financial experience is required, which may include public accounting
  • 2+ years of experience working at a Private Fund or Secondaries firm strongly desired

General Requirements

  • Solid management team skills including staff development
  • Strong relationship building skills with internal business clients
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office, eFront Software is a plus
  • Dependable, great attitude, highly motivated and a team player
  • High accuracy and detail oriented

Reporting Relationships

Compensation The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Total compensation may also include a discretionary performance-based bonus.

Note, the range takes into account a broad spectrum of qualifications, including, but not limited to, years of relevant work experience, education, and other relevant qualifications specific to the role.

$140,000 - $180,000
