About the role
Ologie has spent decades earning trust in higher education — and this role is how we deepen that presence in the field. As AVP of Insights and Partnerships, you'll own and grow a practice built around bringing Ologists into the rooms that matter: communicator conferences, planning retreats, and professional development experiences that educate, challenge, and inspire. You'll be the bridge between our most talented Ologists and the client teams they work with — pairing the right voice, topic, and format to every client's moment.
Responsibilities
- Own the Ologie Exchange as a business line — set strategy, build a pipeline, open doors for new engagements, and actively convert relationships into business conversations for the broader firm through outreach, prospecting, and contributing to proposals
- Represent Ologie at industry conferences, associations, and partner events to raise awareness of the Exchange, build Ologie's profile, and actively pursue new business conversations
- Manage a calendar of active and prospective engagements, pipeline, and utilization across the Exchange practice
- Track and report on Exchange performance metrics: client satisfaction, engagement volume, revenue, and repeat bookings
- Lead discovery with clients to understand their goals, pain points, and team dynamics before designing each engagement
- Design and customize each Exchange experience in partnership with clients, selecting the right Ologists, formats, and content to meet their specific needs
- Curate and evolve a menu of Exchange offerings — keynotes, audits, workshops, and deep dives — that reflect Ologie's latest thinking and respond to client demand and industry trends
- Serve as primary client contact from contract through post-event follow-up, ensuring every engagement exceeds expectations
- Coordinate logistics and preparation for all Exchange events, including speaker prep, materials development, run-of-show, and on-site facilitation
- Collaborate with Ologie practice leads across branding, enrollment, advancement, and digital to identify emerging topics and keep Exchange content connected to the agency's broader expertise
- Develop new Ologists as Exchange contributors, coaching them on delivery, helping them shape their content, and building their confidence in front of audiences
- Contribute to Ologie's Insights platform and thought leadership as a credible voice in higher education marketing and communications
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in higher education marketing, communications, professional development, or consulting

- Exceptional communicator and facilitator, comfortable leading workshops, client presentations, and public-facing engagements
- Skilled at building relationships, guiding collaboration, and creating alignment across internal and external partners
- Experience owning scope, timelines, and priorities for programs and engagements, balancing multiple workstreams effectively
- Curiosity about marketing, AI, brand, storytelling, and what's actually working in higher ed right now
- Demonstrated leadership grounded in curiosity, adaptability, inclusion, and humility, with a bias toward action
