ASSOCIATE VICE PRESIDENT - MINORITY AFFAIRS AND DIVERSITY

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction for College Access programs and community engagement
  • Supervise staff in various College Access initiatives
  • Manage and oversee College Access budgets with collaboration
  • Cultivate and measure outreach strategies for underrepresented populations
  • Expand relationships with K-12 leaders and community organizations
  • Act as the Vice President's representative at key events and meetings

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in education, counseling, public policy, or related field
  • 8 years of relevant experience with 3 years managing complex budgets
  • Minimum of six years supervising and developing professional staff
  • Experience working with diverse communities, especially with underrepresented minorities
  • Deep understanding of barriers to higher education access
  • Prominent track record in cultivating partnerships
  • Strong advocacy skills at institutional and state levels
