Role Overview Reporting to the Senior Vice President - Environmental Services, the Associate Vice President - Client Development is responsible to lead the business development of projects and programs for the EHS/Industrial Hygiene business practices, including providing leadership and management of key accounts, client relationships, and strategic initiatives. What You'll Do Working with the Senior Vice President - Environmental Services, support the development and lead the execution of strategic plans to grow consulting services with a focus on the EHS/Industrial Hygiene business practicesIdentify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with existing and potential clients, and negotiate contracts to achieve project capture and revenue targetsSeeks, through client partnering, to advance relationships to ‘trusted advisor’ status and to develop key accounts that have long, term and multi-practice support potentialEngages with potential and existing clients through meetings, conference attendance, site visits, and other means as considered appropriate and/or the most strategicIs a champion and account manager for client individuals and sites, and continually promotes client goals, objectives and the schedule of deliverables as paramount importanceInteracts with clients assuring satisfaction with True Environmental’s services and interacting with operations to ensure any service issues are identified and addressed in a proactive mannerLead the development of proposals for potential new projects and programsAs needed, serves as a senior resource to lead/deliver on projectsEnsures assigned resources are executing work as planned and with high qualityRepresent the company at industry conferences, seminars, and other networking events to promote our services and enhance our visibility within the mining communityReinforces collaboration and team building, ensures client focus, demonstrates commitment to excellence and innovation, and motivates others to create an engaging work culture. Monitors and promotes environmental health and worker safetyMentors junior/intermediate project team membersConducts senior reviews of technical deliverables and programs in area(s) of expertiseAll other related duties as required Required Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent15+ years of previous experience working in environmental consulting, A/E/C or relevant industry. 10+ years of business development experience and leading/building client relationshipsAbility to work effectively with team members on multi-disciplinary projectsStrong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other business softwareStrong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels Desired Qualificaitons Post-graduate education (graduate level course, short course, Masters, etc.)Deep understanding of client markets, environmental regulations and industry trends All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
