Paws & Claws Pet Medical Center is seeking an Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join our welcoming and collaborative team in Troutdale, Oregon, just minutes from Portland and the Columbia River Gorge. We are open to both full-time and part-time veterinarians, with scheduling flexibility ranging from 14 days per week. Mondays are needed, but we are happy to build a schedule that supports your ideal work-life balance.

We provide comprehensive veterinary care for: - Dogs - Cats - Rabbits - Birds - Reptiles - Pocket pets Our experienced veterinarians routinely perform surgery. However, we also welcome veterinarians who prefer to focus on wellness, internal medicine, urgent care, or companion animal practice.

Qualifications

Required: - Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine, or equivalent certification for international graduates - Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE) - Active Oregon veterinary license in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date Preferred: - Experience utilizing digital radiography, dental radiography, and in-house diagnostics - Experience in small animal general practice, urgent care, or companion animal medicine - Interest in exotics medicine - Interest in surgery and dentistry - Strong communication and client relationship skills - Collaborative, team-oriented approach to medicine
