Responsibilities
- Support and lead valuation consulting engagements requiring competencies in financial modeling, critical data analysis, and quantitative finance.
- Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and collaborate with more experienced team members to meet client expectations.
- Design, implement, and document the processes and rationale underlying our engagements, ensuring they meet the client's unique circumstances and adhere to relevant regulations and accounting standards.
- Participate in client delivery meetings and external audit review sessions, ensuring clients and their external auditors effectively understand the processes, rationale, and results.
- Contribute to practice development and research initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or other quantitative fields.
- 0 - 4 years of experience in a data analysis or financial modeling role.
- Experience in quantitative finance subjects, such as derivatives valuation, and theoretical accounting work involving interpreting accounting standards and designing processes.
- Strong detail- and accuracy-orientation.
- Ability and willingness to think critically and solve "out-of-the-box" problems independently.
- Maturity in internal/external communication and time management.
- Desirable: Exposure to SAS or another programming language for high-volume data handling.
Skills
Successful candidates will be expected to acquire skills in quantitative finance, designing processes, developing and/or reviewing working papers, and interacting with clients.
