Responsibilities
- Perform In-Depth Valuation Analyses: Execute comprehensive valuations utilizing diverse financial models and approaches, including, but not limited to, discounted cash flow (DCF), market multiple analyses (public company and precedent transactions), and option-pricing models
- Conduct Thorough Research: Lead in-depth research and analysis of companies, industries, competitors, and market data to inform valuation assumptions and conclusions
- Develop Valuation Reports: Prepare valuation reports and presentations that effectively communicate methodologies, assumptions, and findings to internal and external stakeholders
- Client Engagement: Interact directly with C-level executives and key stakeholders throughout the engagement lifecycle, including conducting client site visits
- Contribute to Thought Leadership: Analyze valuation-related topics and trends, preparing reports or publications to share insights with clients and the broader market
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with a strong analytical foundation
- Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or a related analytical role is preferred, but not required
- Technical Skills: Proven proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis, with strong command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to effectively summarize complex information
- Communication Skills: Clear, concise, and professional verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and clients
- Work Ethic: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, meet fluctuating deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting
