Associate Underwriter - E&S
About the role
The selected candidate will be involved with a variety of underwriting activities, including preparation of quotes and proposals, organizing and analyzing underwriting information, working closely with multiple underwriters, and cultivating strong working relationships with agency personnel, our Rating and Loss Control staff, and other departments.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in insurance underwriting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
- Underwriting experience preferred
- Knowledge of insurance products and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
The salary range for this position is $24.80-$38.19 hourly. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Schedule
This position is available in either our Mid-Atlantic Regional office in Glen Allen, VA or our office in Sarasota, FL.
