About the Role
The Associate, Treasury Reconciliation is tasked with the preparation of monthly bank account reconciliations and overseeing client remittances. The role demands ensuring precision by executing required adjustments to align bank statements with internal reconciliation records.
Responsibilities
- Carry out daily and monthly bank reconciliations, and present these monthly reconciliation reports to Management.
- Ensure daily cash receipts are reconciled against transactions recorded in Strategy (McCracken), our loan processing system.
- Process monthly remittances to investors.
- Investigate and rectify any discrepancies encountered.
- Manage several projects simultaneously, adhering to various deadlines and prioritizing effectively.
- Undertake special projects as assigned.
- Collaborate and maintain open lines of communication with other departments within Treasury and across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1+ years of experience in reconciliation or treasury operations.
- A background in accounting and/or finance, with a strong proficiency in mathematics.
- Effective problem-solving capabilities.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational and administrative skills.
- Skilled in managing sensitive information while upholding privacy.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
