About the role

The Associate Transfer Center Specialist role facilitates patient transfers and consultations, manages assignments, and supports the care team to ensure timely access to the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient transfers and consultations
• Manage assignments of Emergency Department and admissions to Hospital Medicine service
• Support all care team members to ensure timely access to the hospital

Requirements

• High School degree or GED preferred
• EMS Certification (not currently required, but willing to complete)
• Five years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Basic medical terminology knowledge
