Associate Therapist/ECM Consultant - Full Time

Pacific Health is expanding its team and seeking a highly skilled, compassionate therapist for a hybrid role. This position involves conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering evidence-based interventions, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. The therapist will play a vital role in helping clients achieve their mental health goals and improve their overall well-being while maintaining the confidentiality of client information.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and telehealth therapy services to clients via phone, video, and in-person.
• Provide crisis intervention and short- and long-term psychotherapy.
• Conduct mental health evaluations and formulate treatment plans.
• Offer referrals and case management services.
• Complete in-person clinical assessments with new Clubhouse members as part of the enrollment process for Clubhouse membership.
• Collaborate with clubhouse staff to address the unique needs and challenges of clubhouse members.
• Maintain up-to-date, accurate clinical records in compliance with HIPAA.
• Ensure all documentation is completed within established deadlines.
• Adhere to mandated reporting protocols.
• Engage with case management, administrative, and leadership teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain professional, timely communication via email, phone, and instant messaging.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and interdisciplinary planning.
• Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients.
• Interview and conduct diagnostic assessments of patients to develop treatment and recovery plans.
• Participate in the intake process by interviewing patients and/or their family members to obtain relevant history.
• Provide ongoing clinical assessment, treatment planning, and clinical treatment for patients and families.
• Prepare and maintain clinical documentation while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
• Complete administrative requirements, including timely documentation by set deadlines.
• Collaborate with the Enhanced Care Management (ECM) team on comprehensive case conceptualizations to optimize member outcomes.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and responsiveness.
• Uphold a high standard of customer service and empathy.

Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, marriage and family therapy, social work, or counseling.
• Current California license as one of the following:
  • Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT)
  • Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW)
  • Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC)
• Previous experience working with mental health consumers; case management experience is preferred.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Gmail.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
• Collaborative spirit and professional demeanor.

Pay

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule

Full-time; 9am - 6pm PST. Hybrid, 1 day on-site at locations in San Diego County.
