Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology projects across the organization.
  • Guide teams through structured project execution, drive operational maturity, and ensure alignment with business, security, and compliance objectives.
  • Lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and implementation of technical projects, including multiyear Technology Operations initiatives such as patching, monitoring, and backup.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Translate complex technical requirements into clearly defined project plans.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project roadmaps and project plans to track milestones, dependencies, and progress.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs while maintaining alignment with business priorities.
  • Carefully coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to ensure clear communication for the seamless execution of projects.
  • Establish and maintain effective vendor relationships, including oversight of tool evaluations and implementations for monitoring platforms, automated patching, and backup/recovery solutions.
  • Work alongside technical resources to project manage the development, test, launch and support phases.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including project plans, status reports, and executive summaries.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate project delays and risks to management as needed.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred;
  • 5-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in a technical environment;
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools;
  • Strong written, verbal and communication skills with the demonstrated ability to work with all levels within the organization;
  • Strong organizational, analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills, accuracy and attention to detail, process oriented;
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams;
  • Experience working with third party vendors;
  • Knowledge of SaaS based platforms and familiarity with cloud technologies is preferred;
  • Comfortable working in a largely Microsoft 365 environment and related tools;
  • Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, and other project management tools as well as familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Pay

Expected annualized base salary of $115,000 - $135,000.
