Associate, Technology Product Support

About the role
Engage with Aladdin users on product-specific workflows, product, process, and service. Drive support initiatives by collaborating with development teams to resolve complex inquiries and improve user experience. Act as a key liaison between Aladdin Client Experience, Aladdin Client Engagement, Implementations, Product Marketing, Engineering, and the wider BlackRock business.
Responsibilities
- Own complex Aladdin user inquiries, demonstrating technical knowledge to determine root cause and resolution steps.
- Work with key stakeholders across the Aladdin business to deliver high-impact, product-specific projects.
- Analyze client inquiry trends using data and user feedback to implement solutions and improve the Aladdin user experience.
- Identify functional gaps and areas of strategic improvement from a product perspective.
- Formulate and implement strategic objectives to enhance Aladdin user experience through process and technology improvements.
- Prepare Client Success Specialists for product changes and releases by collaborating with other business units.
- Develop technical proficiency in all workflows within the product team and mentor internal talent through learning opportunities and career development.
- Partner with Engineering & SRE on Proactive Monitoring & Telemetry as a Product Subject Matter Expert (SME) to prevent and resolve critical incidents.
- Act as Product SMEs and Solution Architects, consulting with key users and high-priority clients to address complex compliance challenges and deepen workflow and product knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as an Associate, Analyst, or a related role.
Skills
- Experience with Azure DevOps for front-end debugging and business intelligence tools, including Power BI and Tableau, for reporting and API-based workflows.
- Experience with securitized asset classes (private and public), underlying collateral types, and appropriate cashflow and risk modeling approaches for given security types.
- Enhancing and scaling processes to increase operational workflow and efficiency.
- Leveraging data health to perform quality control checks and provide accurate market analytics support.
- Analyzing NAVs and portfolio drill-down reports to provide in-depth analysis of portfolio performance.
- Utilizing loan metrics including LTVs, DSCR, and debt yields to evaluate loan quality.
- Implementing capital stack loan modeling for public and private commercial real estate trusts and loans for structured assets.
- Conducting surveillance and data governance using Excel, VBA, and SQL.
Pay
For New York, NY, the salary range for this position is USD $150,550.00 - USD $160,000.00. Employees are also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

Schedule
BlackRock’s hybrid work model requires employees to work at least 4 days in the office per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day a week. Some business groups may require more time in the office based on their roles and responsibilities.
