About the Team

DoorDash Digital Ordering is DoorDash’s leading SaaS business unit, offering a suite of products across online ordering, branded websites and mobile apps, loyalty solutions, and more that enable restaurants to reach customers and grow their revenue through their own first‑party channels. The business is one of the fastest‑growing segments within DoorDash and is focused on serving hundreds of thousands of merchants across the Americas.

Strategy & Operations sits at the center of that opportunity, partnering with Product to set strategy and vision for every offering in the suite, deciding what to build, where to invest, and how to bring it to market.

About the Role

As an Associate on the Digital Ordering Strategy & Operations team, you will own one or more product initiatives within the first‑party suite from end to end. You will develop strategy, define key results, and drive execution in partnership with S&O, Product, Engineering, Analytics, Implementation, Sales, and Marketing. The role is an individual contributor position reporting to the Manager of Strategy & Operations, Foundational Products.

Responsibilities

  • Own product initiatives: develop strategy, define goals and key results, build business case, financial model, and go‑to‑market plan; drive execution from launch into growth with accountability for results.
  • Lead cross‑functionally: bring Product, Engineering, Analytics, Implementation, Sales, Marketing, and Support behind a plan and hold partners accountable without formal authority.
  • Analyze: combine complex data analysis with qualitative insight from merchants and frontline teams; build models, assess weekly performance, and translate findings into action plans.
  • Experiment: design and launch zero‑to‑one tests, build AI tools and automations, pilot tools, demos, or prototype agents; retire what does not work and scale what does.
  • Represent the merchant: act as the voice of the merchant and field, lead discovery interviews, synthesize feedback from Sales, Implementation, Support, and merchants to influence product roadmaps and go‑to‑market priorities.
  • Scale learnings: codify successful approaches, build repeatable frameworks, processes, and enablement, and define best practices for launching new products in a scalable, measurable way.

Qualifications

  • 2‑3 years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, product, or founder‑type roles.
  • Experience taking a product or initiative from inception through launch and into growth, leading cross‑functional partners without a fully defined brief.
  • Strong analytical horsepower and intellectual curiosity; ability to synthesize large data sets into meaningful insights (SQL proficiency preferred).
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast‑paced, high‑ambiguity environments, moving with urgency and defaulting to action.
  • Demonstrated skill in leading cross‑functional teams through influence, building trust with Product, Engineering, Sales, Account Management, and Marketing.
  • Exceptional communication skills; ability to present findings, defend recommendations with data, and tailor messaging across audiences.
  • Hands‑on experience using AI, automation, or internal tooling to improve workflows or prototype solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Bonus: experience founding or operating your own company or product, early‑employee startup role, go‑to‑market execution, high‑growth environment, client/account management, building financial or sales forecasting models, restaurant/SaaS/marketplace experience, or being the first in your family to attend college.

Benefits

  • 401(k) plan with employer matching.
  • 16 weeks of paid parental leave.
  • Wellness benefits and commuter benefits match.
  • Paid time off and paid sick leave (flexible PTO for salaried roles; accrued vacation and sick time for hourly roles).
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 11 paid holidays.
  • Disability and basic life insurance.
  • Family‑forming assistance.
  • Mental health program.
