As an Associate Strategist, Communications, you’ll support our client work and collaborate with an award-winning collective recognized by Fast Company, Ad-Age, Campaign, and PR Week.

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in New York City.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general account support, research, and brainstorming for brand communications clients.
  • Identify influential voices (new and traditional media, earned and paid influencers), create targeted lists, and manage outreach.
  • Monitor and compile daily and weekly coverage reports.
  • Spot and analyze trends across platforms proactively.
  • Develop media materials, including pitches, executive messaging, and press releases.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in public relations or a similar field, with a focus on integrated communications/marketing programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills, with a detail-oriented and proactive mindset.
  • Basic knowledge of the public relations and communications industry.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly.
  • Relentless curiosity and enthusiasm for experimentation and innovation.
  • Familiarity with MuckRack, Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Keynote is a plus.
  • Awareness of industry-relevant AI trends and tools (e.g., ChatGPT, MidJourney, Runway, DALL·E) with basic proficiency in applying them to daily work.

Pay

The base compensation range for this role is $57,000 – $63,000 for New York City-based hires, with eligibility for additional benefits including medical insurance, retirement contributions, paid leave, and bonuses.
