Associate Startup Solution Architect

In this role, you’ll work directly with early-stage startups to help them make the best—and sometimes most pragmatic—technical decisions. You’ll build enduring relationships, establish yourself as a trusted advisor, and help startups leverage AWS technology at scale. You’ll also spend time learning new technologies and advocating for product improvements based on customer feedback. Additionally, you’ll share knowledge broadly through technical content and events.

Responsibilities

• Help startups adopt the right architecture at each stage of their lifecycle.
• Support startups in architecting scalable, reliable, and secure solutions.
• Drive adoption of AWS services to deliver business value and accelerate growth.
• Influence the evolution and roadmap of AWS services by connecting engineering teams with customer feedback.
• Build technical relationships within the startup ecosystem, including accelerators, incubators, and VCs.
• Develop startup-specific technical content, such as blog posts, sample code, and solutions, to help customers solve problems and reduce time-to-market.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with one of the following programming languages: Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C++.
• Experience with two or more of the following: networking fundamentals, security, storage or databases (relational or NoSQL), operating systems (Unix, Linux, or Windows).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing a cloud-based technology solution.
• Experience in any of the following: Cloud Architecture, Systems Design, Software Development, Infrastructure Architecture, Data Engineering, or DevOps.

Pay

Base salary range: $108,000 – $185,000 USD annually. Your package will also include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
