Associate Staff Accountant
Job Summary
The Associate Staff Accountant supports the finance and accounting team by performing daily accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow within an accounting function.

Essential Duties
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies
- Aid with month-end and year-end close activities to support timely financial reporting
- Generate intercompany and intergroup manual invoices for shared services
- Aid in the documentation of Japan Sarbanes-Oxley (JSOX) internal controls
- Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required with sufficient experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the job
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience (internships or academic experience welcome)
- SAP Experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles and practices
- Self-directed, highly motivated, and proactive in taking initiative
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
- Strong interpersonal skills, team orientation, and eagerness to learn
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to develop, manipulate, and maintain spreadsheets

Target Pay Range
$37.00 to $47.00 - Hourly pay rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data
Target Bonus on Base
