Associate Specialist, Quality Systems
About the role
The Associate Specialist Quality Systems supports quality assurance for various manufacturing processes including pharmaceutical products, medical devices, combination products, and biologics. Responsibilities include assisting with quality regulations, performing quality reviews, supporting project teams, and participating in training programs.
Responsibilities
- Aid in integrating and supporting quality regulations for drug, biologics, device, and combination products.
- Conduct quality reviews of quality system and computerized system changes.
- Review and approve specifications for drug, biologics, device, and combination products.
- Create, maintain, and implement process documents.
- Collect and compile key quality metric data.
- Participate in training and education programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, Microbiology, Engineering, or a related technical/scientific field.
- 0-2 years of experience in quality assurance, quality oversight, or relevant experience.
- Knowledge and familiarity with pharmaceutical, biological, and medical device products.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, Microbiology, Engineering or other technical/scientific area preferred).
- 0-2 years experience in quality assurance, quality oversight or relevant experience.
- Knowledge and familiarity with product, process, equipment, and facilities of pharmaceutical, biological and medical device products preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
