About the role

Our client is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate to join its finance and operations team. This role is focused on financial operations, accounting, and reporting while partnering with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to take ownership of key financial processes while contributing to ongoing process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support financial operations related to lending and participant account administration.
• Prepare journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, cash postings, wire transfers, and month-end close activities.
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis to support business operations.
• Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve inquiries and ensure accurate, timely information.
• Perform financial analysis and maintain reporting across multiple systems.
• Contribute to special projects, process improvements, and ad hoc reporting as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, financial operations, fund operations, or a related environment.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and advanced formulas.
• Experience working with ERP systems, general ledgers, CRM platforms, financial reporting tools, and large datasets.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Professional communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Pay

$90,000 - $119,000 per year

Schedule

Hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days per week in the office.
