We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable Associate Scientist to join our Therapeutic Proteins - Antibody Radioconjugates Technology team. In this role, you will conjugate antibodies with bifunctional chelates and fluorescent probes, and perform radiolabeling to support preclinical immunoPET (iPET) and Cryo-fluorescence Tomography (CFT) imaging.

About the role

You will generate and characterize Zr-89 radiolabeled and fluorescently-conjugated tracers from our portfolio of antibodies and antibody-based therapeutics. Your work will enable quantitative in vivo imaging studies across Oncology, Immuno-Oncology, and other therapeutic focus areas, directly supporting same-day imaging studies that visualize biodistribution, tumor/tissue targeting, and pharmacokinetics of therapeutic candidates in preclinical models.

Responsibilities

  • Performs bioconjugation of antibodies with bifunctional chelating agents (DFO, DOTA, etc.) and fluorescent probes following validated protocols
  • Characterizes antibody bioconjugates using SE-HPLC, SDS-PAGE, Western blot, and UV/Vis spectroscopy
  • Radiolabels bioconjugated antibodies with Zr-89, Cu-64, or other radionuclide isotopes; purifies radiolabeled products for same-day use in time-critical imaging studies
  • Runs quality control testing using radio-HPLC, radio-iTLC, and gamma counting to verify tracer quality before release
  • Maintains mammalian cell culture lines and performs cell-based assays to validate tracer binding and function
  • Coordinates tracer preparation timelines with imaging scientists and project teams across multiple therapeutic areas
